Serving and Preserving

Before the aluminium closure existed, the consumer had a small dilemma when opening a bottle of wine – whether to finish the whole bottle or risk wasting some of the precious liquid by replacing the cork and saving a glass or two of the contents for later.

Wine kept in bottles with aluminium closures can be served by the glass at any time as it keeps perfectly for the next day or the next guest. Restaurants can accordingly serve a high quality wine to their guests by the glass, without obliging them to purchase a whole bottle.

It also allows a customer in a restaurant the choice to experiment with different wines during the meal and to discover new tastes and qualities. Thanks to aluminium closures it’s easy for different wines to be enjoyed separately, in individual portions, at any time. The consumer can be certain that the wine is in the best possible condition – always.
